Welcome to Newleaf Associates, a training and consultancy company based in Scotland and led by Margaret Johnston.

An experienced trainer, facilitator and coach, Margaret has held various HR and Training Management positions within the retail industry, local government and further education.  Margaret has also written distance learning materials for the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

Newleaf Associates works with clients from private, public and voluntary sectors.  We focus on the following three main areas: Managing People; Personal Development; Trainer Training.

To complement these we also offer one to one Coaching on various aspects of Personal Effectiveness and English as a Second Language in business.

As part of our consultancy service we can carry out research into HR topics relevant to your organisation.  We can also advise and support you with the implementation of HR and Training processes that give added value to your organisation.  Some examples of projects we can undertake are: conducting a training needs analysis; drawing up training plans; writing induction procedures or employee handbooks; designing a performance appraisal system.

We are Chartered Members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and as such, we subscribe fully to the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct in our dealings with clients.  You may view this code at      www.cipd.co.uk
